Jo Davies & Siwan Gillick

at The Chair

The Chair is a gallery based in Hay on Wye. Jo Davies and the painter, Siwan Gillick, have been brought together by the gallery to show their complementary work in porcelain and paint during the renowned Hay Festival in Summer 2024. Hay-on-Wye is an important place for Jo Davies because much of her childhood was spent there with her family home being a few miles away and her mother’s business being set there for many years through the 1980’s. This beautiful gallery, set opposite the newly renovated Hay Castle, is defining itself as an important place for a broad spectrum of contemporary visual art in the area.

All work will be for sale.
